Sunflowers Training Workshops

The Sunflowers Chernobyl Appeal provide and facilitate workshops to train older special needs children in institutions and Day Care Centres. The children are taught in the use of woodworking and craftwork tools, followed by training in different types of crafts such as picture framing, wood carving, stained glass and practical DIY among others. The Sunflowers workshops are therapudic and give the children skills to help them towards independent living.

The Sunflowers provide training programmes to encourage independent living and teach life skills by employing therapists and providing facilities and equipment in Belarus. The Sunflowers training workshops have proven very effective and benefit the Chernobyl Children greatly
